China’s Xiaomi Entering U.S. Smartphone Market Very Soon

China’s Xiaomi is the 4th largest smartphone maker company. Xiaomi designs different models of smartphones and develops them to sell, Apart from that they also develop mobile apps, laptops etc.According to report’s China’s Xiaomi will be Entering US Smartphone Market Very Soon.

Xiaomi Vice President Hugo Barra said, “Xiaomi will launch a new product in the United States, without giving a specific date”.

But according to Android Authority, This product certainly will not be a smartphone. Also, Barra in one of his interviews with Bloomberg has said that Xiaomi will launch a new product in the United States in the month of October this year.

Xiaomi made its debut in the United States market officially by its website mi.com which is an online store. But the company has sold only a few accessories like Headphones and power banks. So now it’s time for smartphones and tablets to be launched in the United States.

Also, It is being said that when Xiaomi will start selling its smartphones, Then there will be two companies which will be in competition. Samsung and Apple, since they are the top two companies in smartphone marketing firm.

A survey was conducted by Kantar Worldpanel which is an international industry company of surveys. It has been found that Xiaomi has numbered as 18.5 % of smartphones sales of its devices in the country china by surpassing 17.9% with Apple’s in the Q2 of 2016.

In order to compete in the market of United States Xiaomi have to do few changes and start selling the products through Verizon and AT&T which are mobile network carriers. This is a very important step for the company since it has always sold the devices online.

Barra said, “The U.S. is a very important market for any consumer’s electronics and lifestyle brand, certainly for us as well. Obviously, we’ve got to time things carefully”.

Earlier this month, According to Forbes Xiaomi’s founder and CEO, Lei Jun has been listed 22nd on Forbes’ 2016 list of 100 Richest In Tech.
